Synne is a non-practising solicitor with extensive experience in litigation, dispute resolution and contentious insolvency. After studying Law at Cardiff University she completed a Masters in International Law in Oslo before qualifying as a solicitor in 2015 at Harrison Clark Rickerbys. Synne has advised individuals, charities and businesses on a wide range of complex legal matters, including commercial disputes, shareholder disagreements, professional negligence claims, contractual issues, debt recovery and property matters. Synne is recognised for quickly identifying the key issues in a case and providing clear, practical advice that helps clients make confident decisions. The Law Collective is led by David Salter, a non-practising solicitor with over two decades of experience spanning litigation, arbitration, mediation, and insurance law. David trained at Geldards LLP before gaining experience at Eversheds LLP and then Allens Linklaters in Sydney, one of Asia-Pacific's leading firms, where he specialised in insurance and reinsurance litigation. David worked in-house at Chubb, one of the world's largest insurers, and has provided legal consultancy to international insurance brokers. In 2008, David founded Linguistico, a legal translation and drafting consultancy whose clients have included the Australian Government, major global law firms, and Fortune 500 companies. He has since supported local businesses with practical, straightforward legal advice — the foundation on which The Law Collective was built.

Meg is a non-practising solicitor with expertise in family law and personal legal affairs. Meg qualified as a solicitor at Langleys in York (now Knights plc) in 2019, specialising in private children matters including child arrangement orders, prohibited steps orders, and specific issue orders. She has guided clients through complex family situations — from co-parenting arrangements and matrimonial finance to cases involving criminal proceedings, dual nationalities, and Legal Aid applications — and volunteered at Yorlaw, a free legal advice clinic run alongside the Citizens Advice Bureau. Alongside her legal practice, Meg has provided pro bono legal advice and now helps individuals and families navigate personal disputes, Powers of Attorney, financial affairs and insurance matters. Known for her calm, compassionate approach, she provides clear, straightforward legal guidance that puts people at ease during what are often life's most challenging situations.
